In this, our final meeting of the academic year, we continued to watch excerpts from "The Four Horsemen". We started by examining the question of whether critics of religion have the obligation to be even-handed in their portrayal of religion. We continued with clips of Dawkins, Dennett, Harris, and Hitchens, talking about what they hoped to accomplish along with the question of whether it is possible to reason people out of faith. We concluded by taking a look at Hitchens' distinction between the supernatural and the numenous and asking what an atheistic spirituality might look like. Thanks for listening!
